Mr JAMES (HUNTER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Having regard to the shortage of labour in rural industries, will the Minister for Social Services consider amending the Invalid and Old-age Pensions Act to enable those pensioners who are physically capable to earn the equivalent of the basic wage without prejudice to their pensions, just as blind pensioners are allowed to do?
