Mr MARWICK (SWAN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - Has the Deputy Prime Minister seen the statement in the Melbourne Sun-Pictorial, by the honorable member for Henty (Mr. Coles) that he had been unable to participate in the debate on uniform income taxation hecause he had been called to Melbourne on urgent business connected with clothes rationing? If so, will the Minister bring this report to the notice of the Prime Minister and suggest to him that, when members of this Parliament accept positions on commissions or committees dealing with important matters of government policy, it should be made clear to them that their activities shall not prevent them from attending to their duties as members of this Parliament?
