Mr BEASLEY (WEST SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Supply and Development) - The Minister for Trade and Customs controls the rationing of beer. I am aware that complaints of a shortage of supplies have been received from centres where large numbers of workers are employed.

Mr James - And also where large bodies of troops are stationed.

Mr BEASLEY - That is so. I shall bring the representations of the honorable member to the notice of the Minister with a view to seeing whether action can be taken to overcome the difficulty.
