Mr FALSTEIN (WATSON, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Can the Acting Attorney-General say to what degree, if any, the Crown in the Commonwealth has adopted the practice of the Crown in the State of New South Wales, of delivering briefs to members of the Bar on the basis that counsel who does the work receives one-half of the fee, the remaining one-half being received by another member of the Bar, nominated by the Crown, who is serving in an active capacity with the fighting forces? If no such arrangement is at present in operation, will th* honorable gentleman consider its immediate adoption?
