Mr SPEAKER - (Hon. W. M. Nairn). - I have received from the honorable member for Richmond (Mr. Anthony) an intimation that he desires to move the adjournment of the House for the purpose of discussing a definite matter of urgent public importance, namely, " The inevitable serious decline in the production of vital foodstuffs and other commodities essential to the needs of our military forces, our civilian population, our Allies in this country and of Great Britain, consequent upon the depletion of labour in our rural areas and elsewhere ".
