Mr CURTIN - I shall endeavour to ascertain exactly what occurred in relation to the matter. Until the honorable member asked this question I did not realize that the purpose of the barrage of questions to-day was to assist the Government. As honorable gentlemen know, the purpose of questions should be to elicit information. Now that I have been informed of the true reason for the asking of so many questions to-day I ask honorable members to put the remainder of their questions on the notice-paper.
