Mr DUNCAN-HUGHES (Wakefield) - It would be a deplorable thing if the speech of the honorable member for Batman (Mr. Brennan) were to be regarded by anybody as a true reflection of the feeling of members of this House or of the general public. I feel called upon to say something upon this subject, because, for many years, I, more perhaps than and other honorable member here with the exception of the honorable member for Flinders (Mr. Ryan), have been a friend of Mr. Casey, and I know a good deal about his personal qualifications.
