Mr SCULLY - This matter is at present under investigation, and I have called for a report from departmental officers. Much research work has been done, and the opinion of doctors and other experts is being obtained. I do not altogether agree with the view of the honorable member. It appears to me that much valuable stock, including beef cattle, of which there is an alarming shortage throughout Australia, is at present being wasted.
