Mr MULCAHY (Lang) .- As honorable members know, this is a revenue measure designed to augment the nation's resources in order to finance the war effort, a job with which we should proceed as quickly as possible. The honorable member for Corangamite (Mr. McDonald) has moved an amendment; why the Opposition should endeavour to stonewall-


Mr McDonald - I rise to a point of order. The honorable member has just said that the Opposition has stonewalled. I take grave exception to that. As a matter of fact, all that I did was to . move an amendment in order to give to the House an opportunity to debate matters that did not come within the scope of the measure.
