Mr SCULLY - The Commonwealth Government has taken action in regard to the acquisition of second-grade and pastry butter in order to prevent the utter collapse of the butter industry, especially so far as choicest and firstgrade butter are concerned. The Government has taken cognizance of the position in South Australia and two members of the Dairy Produce Control Committee will soon leave for South Australia to confer with representatives of the butter industry in that State.
