Mr HUGHES (NORTH SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Attorney-General) - I asked Senator Allan MacDonald to go down to Port Kembla and make a personal investigation. He did so, and has made a report which was discussed in part with a deputation which waited on me on Monday. I have since seen the Prime Minister, and explained the position to him. As soon as possible, I shall go to Port Kembla, investigate the position myself, and make a recommendation to the Government.
