Mr MAHONEY (DENISON, TASMANIA) - Seeing that all the government-owned munitions factories are situated in Victoria or New South Wales, I ask the Minister for Defence whether he will grant free travelling facilities to persons living in the other States who apply for jobs at those factories and wish to arrange interviews in connexion with their applications?


Mr STREET - I regret that I cannot accede to the honorable gentleman's request.
