Mr MENZIES - I regret that I was not aware of the representations, but I shall have inquiries made at once and see that a decision is given promptly.


Mr SHEEHAN - Can the Prime Minister say whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce during this period of the session reciprocal legislation between New Zealand and Australia in the matter of invalid and old-age pensions?


Mr MENZIES - The matter is under consideration, and a statement on the subject will no doubt be made in due course.
