Mr JOHN LAWSON (MACQUARIE, NEW SOUTH WALES) . - I am well aware of the deep interest which the honorable member for West Sydney (Mr. Beasley) has taken in the subject which he has raised to-night and I appreciate the motives which impel him to speak on the matter. As I have not been long in control of the department, the honorable member will, I am sure, acquit me of any charge of negligence. I give him my assurance that there will be no avoidable delay in action to bring about concrete results from the inquiry which was undertaken a considerable time ago.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
