Mr McHUGH (WAKEFIELD, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - I ask the Prime Minister whether, in view of the activities in South Australia with the object of tapping the River Murray at Morgan with the idea of supplying water to areas and towns between Morgan and Whyalla, where a blast furnace is to be erected, the Commonwealth Government will cooperate with the Government of South Australia and other States in augmenting the storage supplies? I point this out because of fears that the river may go dry. The engineers stated that it would have been dry this year only for the locking system.
