Mr JAMES (HUNTER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Is the Prime Minister aware that several members of this Parliament have received invitations to inspect a plant at Annandale, in New South Wales, for the extraction of oil from coal? Is he aware that one of his own Ministers is convinced of the practicability of this process, and the need for developing it in view of defence requirements? Does he propose to send experts to the inspection so that they may report to the Government?
