Mr.McEWEN laid on the table the annual report of theCommonwealth Railways Commissioner for the year ended 30th June, 1938.


Mr Curtin - Is it in order for the Minister to interpose with the tabling of papers between notice of motion No. 1 and the first order of theday? The Standing Orders, taken as a whole, carry the meaning that papers may be laid on the table before orders of the day are called on, or at the conclusion of the consideration of orders of the day and before the motion for the adjournment of the house has been moved.
