Mr ROSEVEAR (DALLEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Will the Minister for Defence make inquiries regarding the number of highly-skilled tradesmen lost to the service of the Commonwealth from the Lithgow SmallArms Factory when the Government decided a few years ago not to allow that factory to compete for the manufacture of material other than defence equipment? If he learns, as the result of his investigations, that a large number of men were lost in this way, will he undertake to reconsider this policy, so that the factory may again undertake outside orders?
