Mr LYONS - The honorable member is just assuming, without any basis for his assumption, that there is widespread opposition to the act. His laughter does not add to any evidence of dissatisfaction which he has produced up to the present which is nil. The Government has no intention of taking a referendum of the people with regard to this matter.
