Mr WHITE (BALACLAVA, VICTORIA) - I ask the Minister for Civil Aviation whether it is correctly stated in the press that many changes are to be made in the control of civil aviation? In particular, is it the intention of the Government to disband the present Civil Aviation Board, and revert to the old method of control by a Comptroller of Civil Aviation? If this is so, why was not Parliament informed first? Is it advisable to make this change while the inquiry into the Kyeema disaster is in progress?
