Mr POLLARD (BALLAARAT, VICTORIA) - In view of the very long ministerial services of Sir George Pearce, and the ample opportunity he has had to provide a competence for himself in his old age, will the Prime Minister give an assurance that, in making an appointment to the Commonwealth

Grants Commission, a younger man will be selected of ability equal to that possessed by Sir George Pearce, and with a future infront of him?
