What stage has the Government reached in connexion with the disparity which exists in the rates charged for radio messages from ships at sea to Australia, and to the United Kingdom ?


Mr Archie Cameron - The answer to the honorable member's question is as follows : -

It is regretted that no understanding has yet been reached in negotiations with the company concerned, but every effort is being exerted to secure early agreement.
