Mr RANKIN (BENDIGO, VICTORIA) - Will the Minister for Commerce inform me whether provision has been made in the agreement to pre vent foreign competitors from placing sufficient quantities of fruit in cold store to flood the British market during the Australian fruit export season?

Sir EARLE PAGE - If the honorable member will read my statement carefully ho will realize that the Government of the United Kingdom has expressly preserved the rights of suppliers in the southern hemisphere.
