The CHAIRMAN - Order ! The honorable member must confine his remarks to the clause.

Mr WARD - I conclude by saying that, in my opinion, every member of the Cabinet should immediately vacate ;i.ny position which he occupies other than that connected with his parliamentary duties. Ministers should resign from directorates and concentrate the whole of their activities and time to attention to the work of the nation for which they are paid such liberal salaries. Members of the Opposition should go into every electorate and explain to the people just how this Parliament disregards the requirements of the general community and how it can alway find time to legislate for the benefit of Ministers.
