Mr LANE (BARTON, NEW SOUTH WALES) - 'With reference to thb proposal of the Government to increase the strength of the militia forces to 70,000, is there sufficient instructional staff to proceed with the training of troops, and is it a fact that ex-members of the Australian Imperial Force who were formerly instructors will be excluded from enlistment because they are over the age of 40 years? Are we to understand that all ex-service men of over 40 years of age will be debarred from enlistment?
