Mr NAIRN - Will the Prime Minister and the officers of the Taxation Department, in considering the incidence of the sales tax, consider the substitution of a single turn-over tax for the existing sales tax?


Mr LYONS - At the present time that and every other aspect of the incidence of the sales tax is under consideration. Prior to the introduction of the budget, this Parliament will be notified of the decision of the Government.


Mr Thompson - Will honorable members have an opportunity of discussing this matter?


Mr LYONS - Yes ; on the budget-
