Mr HILL (ECHUCA, VICTORIA) asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   What were the amounts of each of the various allowances paid to Commonwealth public servants for the year 1930-31, as follows: - Holiday pay, Sunday pay, overtime, travelling time, higher duties, away from home allowance, district allowance, travelling and relieving allowances, and miscellaneous allowances?

2.   What was the amount paid during the same period in child endowment to Commonwealth public servants?

3.   What is the total number of Commonwealth public servants and the number who are receiving child endowment?
