Mr JAMES (HUNTER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - In view of the fact that the practice of the previous Government of distributing surplus military clothing to the members representing various electorates gave general satisfaction, will the Government continue it? I point out that honorable. members, in their turn, made the clothing available to relief organizations, and were able to arrange with the State Governments for reduced freights on clothing transported to different centres.

Mr FRANCIS - The request of the honorable member will be brought under the notice of the Minister for Defence.
