Mr LYONS (Wilmot) (Prime Minister and Treasurer) . - I may inform the honorable member for Richmond (Mr.R. Green) that litigation between the Commonwealthand the State has already been commenced. There will be no loss of time on the part of the Commonwealth in givingeffect to the legislationrecently passed by the Parliament, and to the resolution adopted to-day. In these circumstances, I do not think it wise to make any statement with regard to the intentions of the Government in the matter.
