Mr LYONS (Wilmot) (Prime Minister and Treasurer) .- The Government desires to meet the convenience of honorable members in regard to the day of adjournment next week. If possible, the House will adjourn on Thursday; but that will depend on whether we are able to complete our programme by that date. The event in Sydney to which the honorable member for Angas (Mr. Gabb) has referred is of interest, not only to the people of New South Wales, but to the whole of Australia; and if it meets the convenience of honorable members who desire to travel to South Australia and Western Australia for us to adjourn on Thursday, so much the better.

Mr Scullin - Will the Prime Minister inform us to-morrow what business he desires dealt with before the adjournment?

Mr LYONS - Yes.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
