Mr GABB asked the Minister for

Trade and Customs, upon notice -

1.   Is it a fact that sparrows, starlings, and other bird pests are a menace to the fruitgrowing industry in South Australia?

2.   If so, will he reduce the import duty on ammunition used for the destruction of these pests?
