Mr THOMPSON (NEW ENGLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Is the Assistant Treasurer able to say whether any progress has yet been made by the Taxation Department towards settling the dispute which has arisen regarding the position of country storekeepers who sell rock salt for the use of stock? Will he investigate the complaint of the storekeepers that their declarations will not be accepted by the department for sales tax purposes, although the declarations of city storekeepers are accepted?
