Mr MAKIN (HINDMARSH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - In view of the decline in the price of gold, is the Treasurer prepared to consider the shipping abroad of the gold at present held as a reserve against the note issue in order to create credits to meet short-dated loans overseas ?
