Mr HOLLOWAY (MELBOURNE, VICTORIA) - Will the Prime Minister consider the advisability of giving honorable members as much time to debate the unemployment problem as was given to the House yesterday to discuss the duties on tobacco ? I ask the question in an endeavour to help, not' to hinder, and in the hope that our joint counsel may be of some assistance in overcoming the difficulty.

Mr LYONS - If we made as little progress in such a debate as we made yesterday when we discussed the tobacco industry, the proposal of the honorable member would be of no practical help to the Government or to the country.
