Mr THOMPSON (NEW ENGLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Has the attention of the Prime Minister been drawn to a statement in a recent issue of the Sydney Morning Herald to the effect that Mr. H. P. Brown, Director of Posts and Telegraphs, has recommended that Mr. Stuart Doyle be appointed controller of the new broadcasting scheme? Has Cabinet agreed to such a recommendation? If not, will this House be given an opportunity, before any appointment is made, to discuss the personnel of the board, and particularly the chairmanship of it?
