Mr PROWSE (Forrest) .- As a sincere well-wisher of the Government, and as one who objects to sham fights, I feel that the Government will be making a fatal blunder if it permits honorable members to waste the time of the House in a debate which cannot result in finality on this important question. The action of the Government with regard to the duties on tobacco is highly important to Australia, and, in the circumstances, I submit that the Prime Minister shall nol. hesitate to allow the House to take a. division upon it.
