Mr BRUCE (FLINDERS, VICTORIA) - The price of petrol has been of great interest to Australians for many years, and the honorable member may, perhaps, recall that in an effort to obtain petrol at a fair price, the Bruce-Page Government, in conjunction with the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, established the Commonwealth Oil Refineries Limited, and watched petrol prices very closely. What was done in the matter during the regime of the last Government, I cannot say.
