Mr FORDE (CAPRICORNIA, QUEENSLAND) - Regarding the proposed voluntary reduction in the price of sugar, which the Prime Minister has stated should be made, has the Commonwealth Government communicated with the Queensland Government, and with the Queensland sugar interests, indicating what reduction, if any, should be made ?


Mr LYONS - Up to the present time, my Government has not communicated with the parties, but it proposes to do so at an early date.
