Mr LATHAM - In view of the complete uncertainty as to when the Senate will complete the consideration of the tariff, will the Prime Minister consider the advisability of adjourning the House to a date to be notified by Mr. Speaker? I suggest that if that were done, and the 25 th November turned out to be a suitable date, it would still be within his power to assemble honorable members then.

Mr SCULLIN - I shall, within the next few minutes, give consideration to the honorable member's suggestion.
