Mr GABB (Angas) .- In my speech on the Wheat Bounty Bill, when the Government was rushing it through, 1 used the words " make haste slowly." At the time I made every protest of which I was capable against the undue haste in dealing with that measure. The position which has arisen shows that my protest was fully justified. The bill sent on to another place is a disgrace to this chamber.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
