Mr ELDRIDGE asked the Post master-General, upon notice -

1.   Did the Postal Department obtain the services of a scientist to make a recommendation as to the best way of serving the State of Tasmania with wireless broadcasting?

2.   If so, who was the scientist in question ?

3.   Did he make a report?

4.   If so, will the Minister lay such report on the table of the House?

5.   Whatwas the cost involved in the inquiry?

6.   What action has the department taken upon the report?

7.   Was the appointment of such an officer published in the press at the time?
