Mr POYNTON (Grey) (Minister for Home and Territories) . - It is desirable to have uniformity, as far as possible, with the British Act, and I suggest that the clause be passed, and that we make representations to the Imperial authorities concerning certain amendments which may be thought necessary, and give effect to them later.
