Mr FRANCIS (Henty) .- Yesterday I spoke against the measure, and expressed my intention of adhering to the principle of the Commonwealth Conciliation and Arbitration Court; but I cannot support the amendment, because I feel sure it will lead to confusion. I would support a measure giving the Public Service direct access to the Arbitration Court, but as the House has already agreed to the principle of the Bill, the amendment will be of no avail, and in view of my remarks yesterday I must vote against the amendment on the score of economy.
