Sir JOSEPH COOK (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Treasurer) - So far as I am aware, nothing unusual has occurred. My impression is that on the occasion of the last loan very distinct statements were made that compulsion would be resorted to if the amount asked for were not fully subscribed. We have to get this money. We have already incurred commitments which have to be met, and if we cannot obtain the money by voluntary subscriptions, we shall stillhave to get it.
