(d)   by omitting from sub-section (2) the words " of office of the President for the time being," and inserting in their stead the words " for which the President holding office at the date of his appointment was appointed"; and

(e)   by inserting after sub-section (2) the following sub-section : - (2a) A Deputy may be appointed, notwithstanding that a vacancy exists in the office of' President at the time of appointment of the Deputy, and any Deputy appointed while any such vacancy exists shall be entitled to hold office during good behaviour for seven years, and shall be eligible for re-appointment, and shall not be removed except by the GovernorGeneral on an address from both Houses of the Parliament in the same session, praying for such removal on the ground of proved misbehaviour or incapacity.
