Mr POYNTON (GREY, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) (Minister for Home and Territories) - The honorable member was good enough to let me know that he intended to ask this question, and I have been able to ascertain for him the latest advice received from London by theCommonwealth Line of Steamers in connexion with refrigerated space in vessels loading from Australian ports to the United Kingdom. It is that the Imperial Government has retained control of all the insulated space until April of next year, and is paying for the same at the rate of £7 4s. per ton for all space requisitioned. The previous rate was £6 12s. 6d.
