Mr MARKS (WENTWORTH, NEW SOUTH WALES) - As I was the first honorable member of either House to raise the question of making a grant to Lieutenants Parer and Mcintosh, who have just completed an aerial flight from London to Australia, I would like to know whether it is true, as reported in the press, that the Commonwealth propose to make a grant of £1,000 to these distinguished officers in recognition of their great exploit, and to suggest that the amount might be made £1,000 each.
