Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER (Hon J M Chanter (RIVERINA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Order! The honorable member is not stating a point of order. Will he please proceed to do so?

Mr Mathews - As a result of the recent decision of the Chair, honorable members were prevented from discussing a matter which was held to be sub judice. Despite the fact that the matter of industrial unrest is sub judice, honorable members are being permitted to discuss a measure specifically introduced for the purpose of settling and preventing industrial unrest. Of course, I consider the recent decision of the Chair to be a silly one.
