Mr MAKIN asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Whether the Government have any knowledge of an Imperial Conference to be convened late in the year 1920 or early in 1921 ?

2.   If so, and the decisions carried at such Imperial Conference interfere with the powers of complete self-government of the Dominions, will the people of Australia have afforded them an opportunity, by popular vote, to ratify the decisions or otherwise before being finally committed to any Imperial compact determining the legislative powers of the Dominions?
