Mr JACKSON (Bass) .- I take this opportunity to ask the Government to do something to promote the spread of technical education. This could be done, I think, by supplementing the State grants, with great benefit to the Commonwealth as a whole. We have a Bureau of Science and Industry, but I doubt whether it will do as much in the way of the technical training of the youth of our country as would the adoption of the suggestion I have made, and the placing of a sum on the Estimates for the purpose.
